IUAV è  un'università di Venezia. Stonefly è una grande azienda specializzata in calzature comode. Detto fra noi, l'ho sempre considerato un marchio più per signore e signori non proprio di primo pelo. Al MICAM ho invece scoperto con piacere che ha aperto una collaborazione coi giovani laureati e non del corso di Fashion Design dell' IUAV. All'entrata dello stand, appesi a fili di ferro intrecciati, facevano bella mostra alcune stravaganti, o meglio d'avanguardia, creazioni di giovani talenti del design dell'università veneta. Uno dei progetti di questi ragazzi sarà scelto dall'azienda e prodotto in edizione limitata. Calzature reinventate attraverso tagli sulla tomaia che permettono al piede entrate alternative, vedi le sneakers di Anna Lombardo, borse scomponibili attraverso il sapiente uso del velcro, questa è l'idea di Veronica Meneghin, le scarpe che sembrano di carta di Chiara De Eccher, e invece sono di stoffa, trattata con arte per dare quell'effetto.


IUAV is an University of Venice. Stonefly is a big company specialized in comfortable shoes. I've always considered this brand as a brand for ladies and men not exactly young. But at MICAM I've discover with pleasure that Stonefly has opened a collaboration with the graduates and non-graduates of the course of Fashion Design of this University. At the entrance of the Stonefly stand there were hanging some avant-garde creations of these young talented designers. One of these project will be chosen and produced in limited edition by Stonefly. Shoes reinvented through the cuts in the upper that permitted the foot to enter from alternative entrances, these are the sneakers created by Anna Lombardo. Decomposable bags through the masterly use of the velcro by Veronica Meneghin. The looks like paper shoes by Chiara De Eccher, but they are mede in cloth, treated with art to create that effect.


I giovani talenti dello IUAV sono assolutamente da tenere d'occhio! Sono sicura che sentiremo ancora parlare di loro!


Keep an eye on these young talented girls of the IUAV! I'm sure we will hear more of their!
