Karma of Charme

The day of yesterday didn't begin in the way as expected. Under a flood of rain, obviously without the umbrella, I arrived totally soaked at the MICAM point out of the red line metro station of Milan. But after entering, maybe because of the welcome smile of Noemi, our "fairy godmother" through the MICAM trade, maybe because of the walls made by shoes' boxes, maybe because of the Barbies and Kens winking from the walls said, I fell immediately better. After have waited for the winners of the competition Cinderella day, we have started in direction  of the trade of Rho. Outside is continuing to rain and in another part of Milan are starting the first runaways of the MFW.

MICAM isn't a market trade, so it's a little privilege that I could walk through the thousands stands of the fair. For this I have to thank Noemi and the site I Love Italian Shoes, whre you cam buy thousands shoes totally Made in Italy, that have permitted me to be there. Now I've finished the greetings and I finally start talking about shoes.

We start with MANAS. This is an enterprise with a many decades of history, started as many others as a little craft laboratory, even now that it's an industrial reality has the quality and the refinement of a product totally Made in Italy. We Italians have many defects but in doing shoes we are good, very good!! I have literally fell in love with the decorated cowgirl boots, with the sparkling slippers and with the ultra fat leather sandals. A little mention also to the wedges sneakers, ubiquitous in all the stands, that I don't love, but many girls do.

Chapeu.

Cinderella, but also flappy girl. This is what I have thought about the woman of Lario 1898. A compound of quality, simplicity and high level italian materials. I was impressed by the lines of another time of the heels little shoes, by the pastel colors of the oxfords shoes à la garçon, by the essential lines and by the tactical cuts of the ballerinas and the sandals. Entering in the stand was like make a dive in the past. It has satisfied my thirst of vintage and simplicity. Chapeu.

Squaw metropolitana.

Metropolitan squaw. The boots of Karma of Charme are for the girls who like get noticed, ultra decorated with fringes and studs, with bright and happy colors. Yes for the youngest, forbear for the ladies who aren't in their teen age. We are still talking about italian leather, italian brand, italian processing.

A little parenthesis for a non italian brand, Montanè. This spanish brand produces hand made espadrilles just out of Barcelona, without the use of glue, only with braided rope and colored cloth. The result is great!

There is more to tell about this edition of MICAM. But you'll see it further, you can't have everything and now! I hope that for now you have understand what a fantastic morning I've passed!!

Love,

Marta
